RRODUCT INTRODUCTION
It is a thixotropic, two-component polyurethane-based system consisting of a filler-containing material, component A, and an MDI curing agent, component B, in a certain ratio. The system contains no solvents, plasticizers or halogenated hydrocarbons. It is used for field-formed foaming glues (FIPFG) and molded foaming glues. The hardness of the strips can be specifically adjusted by adjusting the A/B ratio.
Temperature application range: Long-term: -40°C to 90°C; Short-term: up to 130°C
Method of Application: Prior to use, component A must be kept homogeneous as some of the additives have a tendency to phase separate. The density of the adhesive strip can be adjusted by supplementing air during mixing to maintain 1.02-1.08 g/ml. the supplemental air ensures the uniformity of the foaming structure in the adhesive strip. component B is very sensitive to moisture and should not be stirred. Due to the high reaction rate, the system is usually done with a special equipment for two-component mixing and proportioning.
