1. Oil drilling: In the field of oil drilling, potassium polyacrylamide salt can increase the viscosity of drilling fluid, improve the dispersion effect of drilling fluid, reduce the friction coefficient, and plug cracks and loose rock formations to prevent the loss of drilling fluid. It can also form a spatial network structure with clay particles, play a good shear dilution effect, and prevent well wall collapse through multi-point adsorption.
2. Water treatment: Polyacrylamide potassium salt is used as flocculant in water treatment, which can effectively adsorb the suspended particles and make them gather into larger particles to precipitate. This makes it highly effective in sewage treatment and drinking water purification.
3. Paper industry: In the paper industry, polyacrylamide potassium salt is used as retention aid and water filtration agent, which can improve the strength and surface smoothness of paper, accelerate the dewatering process, and improve production efficiency.
